Throughput is an important measure of network performance. Iperf is a popular tool for measuring network throughput.

Here is a method to measure WLAN throughput using Iperf.

Note: The version of Iperf mentioned here is version 2.x, and not the newer 3.x. Iperf 2.x works well and without issues; the throughput can be measured without much effort.
